Payment Methods for Energy Purchasing at UPCO

At UPCO, electricity is sold on a prepaid basis, and we offer several convenient options for making your payment quickly and easily.

Bank Transfer Payment (Banpais and ACH)

Please make your bank transfer to the following account number:

Banpais Account No.: 216000314357

Once you’ve completed the transfer and have a screenshot or photo of your payment receipt, please send it to us so we can process your energy purchase.

You can transfer from any bank account—it doesn’t have to be from Banpais. You can also use ACH transfers from banks such as Atlántida, BAC, Ficohsa, among others.

PayPal Payment

If you prefer to pay with PayPal, follow these steps:

  1. Go to www.paypal.com and log into your account.

  2. Click on the “Money” tab.

  3. Select “Send Money”.

  4. Choose “Send money to friends and family” to avoid additional fees.

  5. Enter our email address: trrnld@gmail.com

  6. Enter the amount you wish to pay and click “Continue”.

  7. Click “Send Money Now”.

  8. Send a screenshot of the confirmation page to help@utilapowercompany.com.

In-Person Payment

If you’d rather pay in person, you can visit us at one of our customer service offices:

Main Office (Hollands Neighborhood, Utila)

Located in downtown Utila, on the island’s main street, next to Banco Atlántida.

🕒 Hours: Open 365 days a year from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, except on December 25th and January 1st, when hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Los Cayitos Office

🕒 Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:30 am to 10:30 am and 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

🔔 Important:

  • In-person payments are cash only.

  • Payments can be made in Honduran lempiras or U.S. dollars (only clean bills without tears or marks are accepted).

  • The exchange rate from dollars to lempiras is L 24.50.

  • Please bring your meter number and the amount to pay when you visit.

After payment, you’ll receive a receipt containing your purchased energy code.

After making a transfer—either through Banpais or PayPal—please send your payment receipt via:
